Warm air all around, sweat that covers the eyelids 30 seconds after you wipe them, chair that gets burning hot, water that begins to boil 30 minutes after it’s fetched from the chiller, waking up at 6:30 am due to bright sun falling directly on the bed, pillow that’s soaked with sweat when you wake up in the morning…
That’s my room in Delhi in this pre-monsoon summer.
Update: No water in the hostel. Gaurd called other hostels to check, no water there too.
I feel so proud to be in Bangalore (now known as BengaLOLuru?) now. With cool breeze and controlled heat-n-humidity throughout the day, the weather here is just AWESOME!

Warm air all around, sweat that covers the eyelids _40_ seconds after you wipe them, chair that gets burning hot, water that begins to boil _40_ minutes after it’s fetched from the chiller, waking up at _8:00_ am due to bright sun falling directly on the bed, pillow that’s soaked with sweat when you wake up in the morning…
That’s my room in _Madras_ in this _fucked-up_ summer.
Update: _NO WATER IN MY WING OF THE HOSTEL. All other hostels have water, only mine does not._

yaar itni sahi baat kahi tune… main pichle 3-4 dino se hostel ke lawn pe jaake so raha hoon. Security guard asked me yesterday: “beta tabiyat hai kya?”, Mera itna phira hua tha main jawab diya: “kyu bhaisaab yaha log bimar padne pe ghaas pe lait jaate hai?”. Gaurd nikal liya
.
The other day raat ke 12 baje tap se garam paani aa raha tha, maine socha yaar itni buri halat toh chennai me bhi nahi hoti.
But strangely I never faced water shortage in karakoram…

Bath is unnecessary, drinking water is necessary. We are devoid of that!
