It was in 9th class. We were on a school trip. In a bus, I had written a small Hindi poem. It went on to become a trippy thing for the rest of my school life, something which my friends used to take constant digs at me πŸ™‚

Sadak ke kinaare, kal shaam,
Guzarti hui us neeli gaadi ke peeche,
Karun mukh, saumya chehra,
Sehmi si awaaz, bebas nigaahein,
Haathon me katora, aankhon me toote sapne,
Is paar khada tha main, us paar pada tha wo,
Hamare beech ek sadak ka faasla,
Ek zindagi ka faasla.

    I have heard this before… so intellectual. Friends never understood the depth I guess. Waise what was your favorite color back then?

    @Bhale: πŸ˜€ I didn’t have favourites, neither do I have now I guess! But you could say I liked yellow/blue.

    @anuj: Wasn’t written considering that in mind πŸ™‚

    @shruti: Nothing hi-funda there, just an assembly of facts!

    @SiM: I guess we are capable enough to see the facts by the time we reach 9th πŸ™‚

    @bachcha: Must have narrated before.
