God should not have bestowed us with the power to kill ourselves, says the selfish society. Whose side do you take?

I mean, the society’s side when it opposes suicide or the individual’s side, when the individual kills him/her self?

I dont feel like answering, so I insist…God’s side! that’s neutral, not at all judgemental and of course righteous!

Well, when we play a game… we always have an option of quitting. I feel each and every individual is responsible for his/her own life- I am not commenting on whther it is right or wrong to take one’s own life but one has the power to make or ruin the life. If you allow someone to develop and prosper, you will have to allow him to wither at the same time. The positive and negative must co-exist to maintain a balance.

And my thoughts about suicides and society: May be some suicides are very stupid- committed by some mindless people but often, suicides are committed to make the society understand something that it does not understand easily. For example, Gandhiji always followed the path of non violence- he emphasised on sacrifice – satyagrah, anshan ….. to make his voice heard in the society- to inspire, motivate or gain attention towards a cause. May be, my thoughts are vague but I feel like writing. I think , instead of blaming God and his rules, society must dig deep into itself to find out the cause and ammend its rules.
